- Backs a same size 3M™ Fibre Disc (sold separately) to provide firm support and the force required for grinding applications
- Used in conjunction with a 3M™ Disc Pad Hub (sold separately), which attaches to the power tool, and is held in place with the appropriate 3M™ Disc using a retainer nut (sold separately)
- Plate colour indicates disc density for easy identification in the workroom
