- All Type I coatings are based on Ethylcellulose. These coatings also contain mineral oil and are designed to leave an oil film on the protected part. They provide the best type of corrosion prevention for long-term storage and protection against abrasion and rough handling.; E-30 ; The most widely used Type I product. It has very low fumes with little odor. Part numbers can clearly be seen through thin coating. Operating temperature: 350¦F.
