Recycler for Suction Cabinet
- Media separation is the process of separating dust and contaminants from reusable media using an abrasive separator system
- Recommended for dirty applications for which paint, rust, scale, etc. is being removed
- Designed to keep the blast media free of contaminants
- Media-cleaning capability provides longer media life
- Separators quickly pay for themselves by minimizing media waste; How does it work'
- During operation, media from the blast cabinet is suctioned through a hose and into the abrasive cyclone separator
- As the media spirals in a downward vortex, the heavier reusable media particles are thrown to the outside and filtered through a specially designed screen, trapping any debris
- Dust and fine particles collect in the centre of the vortexwhere they are pulled out through the suction tube and exhausted into a filter bag or dust collector
- The cleaned media is then re-siphoned and therefore recycled back to the blast gun; A 400-CFM abrasive cyclone separator is recommended for use with the glass beads or other fine medias.; A 600-CFM abrasive cyclone separator is recommended for almost any type of medias including glass beads and aluminum oxide; dBA: less 85
