- Aluminum oxide is bonded to a reinforced non-woven nylon backing, making it more rigid and aggressive than buffing discs
- Used in aircraft and aerospace manufacturing for structural hand polishing
- Designed for softer metals where standard discs can gouge, and for contour grinding of structural pieces
- The outer 3/8" is more flexible than the rest of the disc
