De Buyer steak pans are made of steel plate and are adapted to powerful heat sources, including induction, ideal for searing and grilling meat.
Round fry pan with a Lyonnaise profile to enable the food to easily slide onto a dish; ideal for searing, grilling, browning. Ridged bottom to score the meat and reduce sticking of the meat. No coating, can cut directly in the pan. Undeformable in thick heavy quality iron coated in beeswax: protective coating against oxidation; facilitates seasoning.
Excellent caramelization of food. Natural non-stick properties as a result of gradual seasoning. Riveted handle curved in French-style: easy handling; ergonomic.
Tip: preheat using a little fat.
Care: Season from its first use. Deglaze, rinse with warm water, dry and lightly oil. Store in a dry place. Do not use detergents or put in the dishwasher.
