This restraining device with mounting hardware is installed where a gas connector is connected on gas cooking equipment to enhance safety and sanitation in commercial kitchens.
ANSI Z21.69 standard requires that each gas connector used on equipment with caster-mounted or fixed legs is moved for cleaning or service repair and should also be installed with a restraining device, which limits strain on the connector.
This device is designed for use with 48 inch long gas connectors.
