Overview

Wash-Checks check the effectiveness of your washer-disinfector system. Each Wash-Check strip carries a test soil, which is designed to parallel the removal of blood and tissue from surgical instruments. When cleaning conditions are effective, the test soil is fully dissolved and removed. If insufficient time, temperature, detergent concentration, spray arms function or enzyme soak occurs, a red residue remains. Check your washer-disinfector system effectiveness with a consistent monitor on a routine basis. No actual blood components from any source are contained in the test soil. Low-cost monitor promotes routine use (we recommend one monitor in each basket of instruments washed). Use with Wash-Checks holder by inserting monitor into holder and placing in baskets, or hanging on basket sides. Designed for easy retention in permanent records.
