Now there's a convenient way to protect your patient's eyes from flying amalgam, prophy paste, handpiece mist and water spray. Protect-A-Lens (P.A.L.) is heat treated to provide a rolled tension allowing the safety glasses to cling to the head without the use of ear pieces.

Several companies sell eye protection for both staff and patients. The problem with these glasses is they need to be cleaned, disinfected and stored. After six months they are so scratched they need to be discarded. With P.A.L. you simply take the glasses from the bag, place them on the patients face and send the disposable glasses home with the patient when you are through. Protect-A-Lens protective eyewear can be worn directly over the eyes or behind glasses as shown to the right.

We sell Protect-A-Lens products in smoke and clear. Smoke can be used for the every day restorations with patients that have been around for awhile. Clear can be used for new patients when the Dentist wants to monitor the patient's pupils to make sure the patient is not having any reaction to the anesthetic. They can also be used when the dentist offers TV while he is working. The patient can see the TV and the dentist is confident that debris will not get in the patient's eyes.
